In order for Deducer to perform advanced analytics on a file of text, the file must be converted to a “corpus”.
Choose Extract corpus from Dataframe from the Text menu on the menu bar of the Console window. The following window will appear.
Choose the desired data set from the pull down menu. Then, choose the variable that contains the text data to be analyzed. The name of the corpus appears in the Save Corpus As: space; this name can be revised if desired. Click Save.
Now you can perform text analysis.
